Increase the use of colorless bottles

Recently, the Ministry of the Environment of Korea and 19 companies in South Korea signed a “Spontaneous Recycling and Simple Packaging Agreement” in Seoul, which aims to promote recycling of resources and reduce environmental pollution of packaging products.

Earlier, the Ministry of the Environment of the Republic of Korea formulated the “First Phase Product Utilization Evaluation Plan (2018~2020)” in accordance with the Basic Law on Resource Recycling. It is expected that the utilization rate of colorless cosmetics and beverage plastic bottles will increase significantly from next year. The agreement is expected to be implemented in June 2018 until the completion of the target; in 2018, the use rate of colorless plastic bottles such as cosmetics and beverages is expected to exceed the 63.5% in 2016 and increase to 85.1%.
